About Byte Workcore

A calmer room for hard workplace questions

Independent preparation for people who need to think clearly before a workplace disagreement in Germany becomes formal.

Advisers in conversation around a bright meeting table

Why this practice exists

Byte Workcore began with a recurring observation: people often seek help only after a workplace exchange has become a collection of fixed positions. Earlier support can make the facts easier to see and the first response less damaging. Our mission is modest but useful—to give a person enough structure to choose the next conversation deliberately.

We work with employees, managers and owner-led employers across Germany. Frankfurt gives us a practical base among international workplaces where English is often the working language while German employment institutions, contracts and procedures remain central.

Who you speak with

Sessions are led by Nora Feld, a workplace-conflict consultant with twelve years of experience supporting difficult employment conversations, internal fact-finding and facilitated meetings. Her training includes facilitative mediation and continuing education in German workplace relations. She is not acting as a Rechtsanwältin and does not present consultation as legal advice.

That boundary matters. Nora helps clients organise events, prepare language and decide when to involve a works council, trade union, HR specialist, authority or employment lawyer. She does not predict court outcomes or speak to another party without a separately agreed mediation engagement.

How we work

The working approach rests on four practices:

  1. Trace the source. We distinguish the employment contract, policy, letter and dated email from remembered speech and interpretation.
  2. Name the next decision. We focus on the choice in front of you, not every historic frustration.
  3. Keep language observable. Dates, conduct, requests and effects are more useful than labels about character.
  4. Escalate with purpose. Formal steps are sometimes necessary. They should be taken with an understood aim and appropriate professional advice.

Relationship and discretion

You decide what outcome is acceptable and what step to take. We will question assumptions and point out risks rather than simply endorse a preferred story. Information is handled on a need-to-know basis, with data minimisation and agreed retention periods. If we identify a conflict of interest, we stop before receiving substantive documents.

Our values are practical fairness, candour, careful listening and respect for the institutions that already exist in German workplaces. Consultation works best when it supports—not bypasses—the right internal representative or qualified adviser.
