How consultation works

From first account to one deliberate next step

A clear route through fit, documents, chronology, preparation and referral—designed for an employment disagreement that has not yet become formal litigation.

Consultant and client arranging notes during a focused working session

01 — Send a brief, non-sensitive outline

Use the enquiry form to describe what happened, what event or deadline comes next, and the outcome you would prefer. Do not attach records or include health information at this stage. We reply within one business day in most cases.

02 — Check fit and conflicts

We confirm whether practical consultation matches the question. A dismissal, court deadline, criminal allegation, immediate safety issue or request for legal representation belongs with an appropriately qualified professional. We also check that no conflicting engagement prevents us from assisting.

03 — Agree the useful record

You receive instructions for secure document transfer. Depending on the session, useful records may include relevant contract clauses, a meeting invitation, the exact letter at issue, dated notes and a short email chain. More material is not automatically better.

04 — Work through the decision

In the consultation, we place events in order, distinguish observed conduct from interpretation and identify what remains unknown. We then prepare one real decision: what to ask, what to say, whether to pause, or whom to involve.

05 — Receive the agreed output

The clarity session includes a two-page action note; meeting preparation includes a speaking sheet; document review produces a neutral chronology. One clarification email is available where included. We do not quietly expand the engagement or charge for additional work without agreement.

When the route changes

Responsible guidance includes knowing when to stop. You may need a Rechtsanwalt for legal rights or a binding deadline, a works council or trade union for workplace representation, a doctor for health concerns, or emergency services for immediate danger. A referral is not a failed consultation—it is the point at which the right expertise matters most.
